The guys set up an experiment on the roof of the building to bounce a laser on the moon and return to Earth. Penny Leonard thinks could benefit from this, he went to get her to discover she has male company. Penny and her date to accompany them on the roof to observe the experiment. However, in the end, the date of Penny proves to be extraordinarily low ingenious. Later that night, gets drunk and sleeps with Penny Leonard, but realized it was a mistake the next morning. Leonard will ask Leslie Winkle to do the same, but turned down. After drinking, Leonard visits Penny apartment and asks him to sleep with her, she declines, leaving Leonard confused.
